POETIC JUSTICE HITS HOWARD HOMECOMING WITH SCHOLARSHIP IN HAND

(Monday, November 14, 2016) - Poetic Justice voyaged to Washington, D.C. for Howard University's epic Homecoming weekend to spread its body positive, pro #blackgirlmagic message and give a $5,000 scholarship to the University's Division of Fine Arts to support the future of Black fashion designers.

PJ began the weekend on Thursday at HU's ultra glam New York Fashion Week inspired show, "Untitled" where  other great brands like Hoodlvm, Lillie Designs, and Khala Jones. Poetic Justice hosted a preshow reception for the VIP guests and gave away custom gift bags to the audience.

Poetic Justice then participated in Howard's famous YardFest concert. From Migos and Fabulous to Faith Evans and Common, YardFest was absolutely epic and we were able to meet PJ lovers from all over the world. The brand also selected 5 Howard students to be brand ambassadors providing students the opportunity to explore the world of branding and marketing within the fashion world.

On Saturday morning Poetic Justice attended the Homecoming Game with the Howard Bison and North Carolina A&T's Aggies. At the game, the capstone of the brand's experience and our proudest moment was presenting a  $5,000 fashion scholarship for Howard University's Division of Fine Arts. We are extremely committed to investing in the next generation of Black fashion designers.

ABOUT POETIC JUSTICE CLOTHING
Poetic Justice is a lifestyle women's fashion brand inspired by African American women and their inherent #BlackGirlMagic. Though African American women come in many shapes and sizes, we saw a gap in the fashion market place for women with unique, curvy shapes. Not only was her figure scrutinized and objectified, it was also underserved as if this woman did not appreciate or need high-quality fashion. We created a brand that celebrates  her body, her style, her voice and her community.
